Formation of Industry working group by International Chamber of Shipping.

The well respected Iinternational Chamber of Shipping have recently formed an industry working group, meeting in London, to discuss the many aspects concerning lifeboat issues as a whole. Supported by other major industry organisations, the first meeting held in June 2007 was well attended and agreed that it would meet again to further their efforts with the aim to agree on the most pressing issues perceived within the shipping industry, including those associated with MSC.1/Circ.1206.
